From April 2015, HMRC have issued a new National Insurance code of ‘M’ for all employees under 21. This means employees in this age bracket will no longer pay NI – and neither will Employers. A win win outcome. This has been introduced to encourage the employment of younger people. A gift from HMRC whatever next……
